I came to this work the way most South Indian girls come to a saree — through the women in my family. My grandmother braided jasmine into my hair the morning of my cousin’s wedding when I was eleven, and I have been chasing that feeling ever since: the hush of a bridal morning, the weight of the silk, the quiet revelation in the mirror.

I trained formally in HD and airbrush, apprenticed under senior artists in Chennai, and built my own atelier around a single promise — your morning is mine alone. No second-hand brushes, no rushed schedules, no production line. Just the patience of a tailor and the eye of a portraitist. Every South Indian bride deserves a makeup artist who understands her saree, her jewellery, and the weight of the morning.
